On another website I clicked a blog link where a woman was doing said project. To me it looked like a bucket list-a rather long one. So off to Google I went. Ever since finding out about the project I knew I must do it. My list does not have a lot of "big" things but each one is special to me. Certain ones are listed because I know eventually they must be done anyway (cleaning out the basement) others are added because they are things I have always wanted to do, read or watch and just never found the time.
The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable, or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of effort on your part).
Start Date: January 1st 2011
End Date: September 28th 2013

My list starts tomorrow and I must say I am super excited. 2010 was a fantastic idea but with this project I know 2011 and years to follow will be even better. I hope you stick around to read about my adventures and hopefully this blog will inspire someone else to write their own list.
Found you on BBC, just wanted to say, I'm totally inspired and am coming up with my own list! So you can check off #51
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading about your journey! :-)
Also dropping in from BBC. I may have to start compiling my list. Have to decide if I can commit first or not. Best wishes. I can't wait to see how your journey unfolds.
